There are two main speaker cable types (We sell both) OFC Copper and CCA Copper (Which is Copper Coated Aluminium). CCA is cheaper but has greater resistance meaning let power to the speaker coil, less power means lower output [of course depending on length also]. This cable is PURE COPPER - which means the whole cable is copper through and through - Low resistance, better connections. The thicker the wire (the lower the AWG Gauge number) the less resistance there will be through the wire. As with all copper wires we recommend the use of Spade or Bannana plugs for the termination of connections and connecting to your speakers/amplifier.
